Sam Remcho
Co-Founder
Sam Remcho is the Co-Founder and Principal of Selborne Properties, bringing two decades of comprehensive property management experience. He has expertly managed properties across various geographic locations, offering services such as marketing, leasing, maintenance, renovation, remodeling, accounting, and financing.
Before founding Selborne Properties, Sam was an apartment advisor at Cornish and Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank. In this role, he collaborated with institutional and private owners throughout California, primarily focusing on the Bay Area. He provided property evaluations and consulted on disposition and acquisition solutions, in addition to offering landlord and tenant representation for industrial, office, and retail properties across the Bay Area.
Sam began his real estate career as a loan consultant at World Savings and Wachovia Bank, where he specialized in sales and managed the residential mortgage process, including underwriting, appraising, processing, quality assurance, fraud prevention, product development, marketing, and sales strategy.
He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and holds a BA in U.S. History from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Sam is also a Commercial Multi-Engine Instrument Rated Pilot, and a Volunteer Firefighter.
Tim Browne
Co-Founder
Tim Browne is the Co-Founder and Principal of Selborne Properties, specializing in East Bay property management. He is a licensed real estate agent with the California Bureau of Real Estate, with experience in both real estate investing and property management.
Before his real estate career, Tim worked in education. He taught Special Education at Roosevelt Middle School in Oakland, CA, and coached football and basketball in the Oakland Unified School District. His teaching experience was through the New Teacher Project. Additionally, Tim worked at Trust Company of the West, assisting the portfolio management team with equity research and investment decisions.
An East Bay native, Tim has an in-depth knowledge of the diverse Bay Area region, especially East Bay property management. He holds an MA in Special Education from San Francisco State University and a BA in Economics from the University of San Diego.
